“The truth is that our finest moments are most likely to occur when we are feeling deeply uncomfortable, unhappy, or unfulfilled. For it is only in such moments, propelled by our discomfort, that we are likely to step out of our ruts and start searching for different ways or truer answers.”

M. Scott Peck M.D.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

I received my Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology: Marriage and Family Therapy from Azusa Pacific University in Southern California. Before this, I completed my undergraduate degree in Psychology at the University of California, Davis. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, holding LMFT licenses in both Washington and California.

Over the past 15 years, I've had the honor of working with individuals, families, and teens facing a range of challenges, from mental health concerns and trauma to relationship difficulties.  My experience includes working in a psychiatric hospital, community clinics, private practice, and psychiatric emergency response. I believe in providing a compassionate, informed, and humorous approach that meets each person where they are.

AREAS OF FOCUS

My passion is working with individuals impacted by trauma in all its forms. As a former first responder, I know firsthand the impact of acute and chronic traumatic stress on our well-being, health, relationships, addictions, and souls. I utilize EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), an incredibly effective, evidence-based treatment for PTSD and trauma.
