Women’s Group: Heal from Betrayal Trauma
Launching June 2025!
We are so excited to launch a new women’s group on 6/03/25: “Heal from Betrayal Trauma” (Women’s Empowerment Group). Betrayal is painful, traumatic, and confusing. It often leads to great personal losses as our world is turned upside down.
Led by licensed therapist Emily Parker, this group is designed for women who:
Are navigating life after betrayal—whether leaving, staying, or feeling unsure about their relationship.
Want to connect with other women who understand the pain of betrayal and offer encouragement through authentic relationships.
Are ready to process feelings of grief, mourning, and anger in a supportive, caring environment with God's love and kindness.
Want to rediscover their inherent worth and value.
Feel stuck and are looking for a way forward in their healing journey.
About the Group
Over 12 weeks/ 80 minutes per weekly session, this group will create a safe space for personal growth and relational connection.
Together, we will:
Engage in meaningful exercises to foster healing and resilience.
Build self-confidence and a sense of empowerment.
Process challenging emotions with honesty and support.
Reclaim your voice and move toward greater clarity and peace.
Help move each other towards 5 indicators of post traumatic growth:
Richer life appreciation,
deeper/ authentic relationships outside of romantic partner,
stronger personal strength/emotional regulation,
new life possibilities/purpose, and
emotional connection or appreciation of spiritual growth.
This group offers a unique opportunity to deepen your healing alongside others who understand your experience. Let’s walk this journey together and invite God into these deep places of wounding!
We will be going through the workbook Unleashing Your Power by Carol Juergensen Sheets which you will need to purchase.
This group will be facilitated by Emily Parker, a licensed mental health counselor associate, she is also a certified sex addictions therapist candidate and certified clinical partner specialist candidate. She works with primarily those who struggle with problematic sexual behavior and partners of intimate betrayal trauma.
